Dropped by the site and was able to get inside to take our first shots of the inside shell of the new store. Also a shot of Rachel and myself at the store front. Construction on the interior is to begin soon and still targeting a January 30, 2010 Opening date.

Hello everyone,
I wanted to give everyone an update on the status of our retail location.
Our goal was to have our store up and running before the holiday season, however due to landlord construction delays this will unfortunately not be achieved. We are now anticipating a January 30th, 2010 opening with lots of activity and exciting promotions. That being said, it is still not too late to book a holiday portrait session for this year as we are still taking home location sessions. Simply call or e-mail us to book your appointment. With each session booked between November 1st and December 31st you will receive a complimentary 8X10 enlargement!

Pictured below is our Opening Soon sign which is located on the corner of Taunton and Garden road and an updated image of our store front and complex.
Looks like they are making progress. Hoping for that November 1st possession date with a December 1st opening.

Well who said everything goes as planned. Certainly not me.
We have experienced some minor delays to our opening date due to construction issues by our landlord. Our new target date is going to be Tuesday December 1st with our Grand Opening celebration on Friday December 4th.
Keep an eye on our blog for Grand Opening specials, Charity activity and a very cool store to have your family portraits taken in.
Here is the latest picture of the site. I will be heading over this weekend to get some closer inside pics for everyone to see.

Ok, I am going to show the progression of the building through pictures. My first image is how the site started off with basically just a pile of dirt. Next will be the progression of the building itself and once construction starts on the interior I will update through out the process.

Hey everyone,
I have some news on the timing of the opening of our first retail studio. I am anticipating that we will take possession of the site to build the store on September 28th and by November 1st we will be ready to open our doors. I will keep everyone updated on our progress and throw in pictures so you can see how it is going. Wish us luck it has been a long, long time coming!!
